While governments across the world provide training and grants to ensure workplace safety, the increasing numbers of low-income and contingent workers present new challenges to occupational health and safety. However, systematic and formative research in this field helps in further developing and implementing effective measures in occupational safety.
Extensive research studies are conducted across the world whose results contribute to advancements of knowledge about occupational injury prevention and worker rehabilitation. To develop effective safety measures based on these research studies and to explore new research avenues in workplace safety, OLC International is organizing International Conference and Expo on Occupational Health & Safety which will be held from 11 - 12 of June 2020 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The theme of the conference is “Moving Towards Safety and Physical Well-Being of Workers,” with an aim to equip workplaces to move towards eliminating dangers to health at the source.
The conference aims to promote health by presenting new trends, procedures and experiences in occupational health and safety. It further supports comprehensive prevention strategies that help workforce in avoiding serious occupational diseases, occupational injuries and accidents while ensuring a secure future for all. The goal of this event is to educate, mobilize and inspire the workforce, employers, decision-makers, and health and safety professionals to ensure safety and health at work by using a series of simple principles.
The conference channels its efforts into most promising research by identifying priority needs in occupational health and safety. It brings together leading academicians, eminent scientists, scholars, researchers, and professionals from different industries to discuss and share their research findings which help in reporting near-miss incidents and outlining safety measures based on research outcomes. It is an ideal platform for professionals from health and safety industries to present their products and services that ensure workplace safety.
The conference will further include keynote lectures and plenary talks from prominent leaders in this field which will educate participants about the most recent trends in workplace safety. We hope this conference will help in fostering new connections among the participants and accomplishes its true motive.
We look forward to welcome you at Occupational Health & Safety-2020 at Kuala Lumpur.
