Jan W. Dobrowolski has completed his PhD at the age of 27 years from Jagiellonian University, Krakow, Poland, DSc. in 1982,National Professor in 1998, Distinguish Professor in 2003. He introduced methods for early detection environmental health hazard and new laser biotechnology for more efficient elimination different environmental pollutants, as well as for better reclamation of deteriorated areas focused on energy plantations for biomass/bioenergy production (as contribution to Sustainable Renewable Sources of Energy) and reforestration for protection biodiversity and prevention against both flood incidence and desertification as well as for improvement Adaptation of water management and flood production to Climate Change . Dobrowolski contributed to series of important international conferences beginning from 1st World Congress Scientists for Better Human Environment in Kyoto 1975 till World Congress on Life Long Learning for Common Action of Experts and Knowledge-based Society focused on Sustainable Development in Triest 2013 (as founder of AGH Open University and tutor of related voluntary education during 25 years and students scientific club for 35 years), the World Scientific Congress in the United Nations connected with UNs GA recommendation Goals of Sustainable Development as the world wide priority in 2016 etc. He was chairman of 15 International Conferences on Sustainable Development and Ecoinnovation (focused on Bio-economy) from 1989 to 2014. He was visiting professor in different regions of the world and has published more than 300 papers including international monographs. Dobrowolski introduced problem-solving training (also at postgraduate and doctoral courses ) of many students from developed and developing countries on new biotechnologies for bio-based green economy and solving crucial problems of sustainable development and improvement quality of human life (including environmental health and creation green jobs) in different regions. He is fellow of the World , Royal Academies , Consortium of the World University and scientific leader of the Interuniversity Team of Sustainable Development and Bioeconomy etc.

Ph.D. Student Forum:

Ph.D. Student Forum is the Outlook Conference’s flagship program and is a premier international forum for biotechnologists and researches to present their work. The Ph.D. Forum will provide an opportunity for a group of Ph.D. students to discuss and explore their research interests and career objectives with a panel of established researchers in the field of biotechnology.

The consortium has the following objectives:

To provide a setting for mutual feedback on participants’ current research and guidance on future research directions;
To develop a supportive community of scholars and a spirit of collaborative research;
To support a new generation of researchers by offering advice about academic, research, industrial, and non-traditional career paths; and
To contribute to the overall conference goals through interaction with other researchers and participation in conference events.

The Ph.D. Forum will be held on the 2nd day of the conference, as a full afternoon session during the main Biotechnology conference. Students may apply to participate either as a workshop participant or as a speaker.
