Dr. Gláucio Diré Feliciano holds a degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ), a master's degree in Human and Experimental Biology (Morphological Sciences) from the University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) and a PhD in Biology (area of concentration in Nuclear Biosciences) by the University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ). He concluded his postdoctoral fellowship in Experimental Pathology at the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ). He is currently a research professor in the area of Neuropharmacology and Neurochemistry at the Foundation University State University of the West Zone (UEZO), where he is responsible for the research line entitled "Study of the biological effects of natural products with investigative interest in Brazil's unique health system. ", which is developed in the Laboratory of Chemical and Biological Analysis (LAQB). He is also a Full Professor II at Estácio de Sá University (UNESA). Prof. Dr. Nahlah Elkudssiah Ismail graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy (Hons) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in the year 2000 and successfully awarded a PhD degree (Distinction Report) in the field of clinical pharmaceutics at Institute of Pharmaceutical Innovation (IPI) and School of Pharmacy, University of Bradford, Bradford, United Kingdom (UK) in July 2005. To date, she has taught more than 50 courses to diploma, degree and postgraduate students in United Kingdom and Malaysia using innovative teacher- and student- centered learning. As the pioneer of clinical pharmaceutics in Malaysia, she is the founder of the first Clinical Pharmaceutics Research Group (CPRG) (2008) in Malaysia and that was later acknowledged as Clinical BioPharmaceutics Research Group (CBRG) under Research Initiative Group (RIG) by Research Management Institute (RMI), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia. The CBRG comprised of Inhalational Delivery Lab, Biomedical Analysis Lab (BAL and Honey Research Lab. Inhalational Delivery Lab was the first in Asia comprising all pivotal facilities in analyzing particles deliveries emitted from various medical devices including nasal spray, metered dose inhalers, spacers, dry powder inhalers, and various types of nebulisers, industrial and domestics sprays, as well as environmental air quality assessment ranging from nano to micro sizes of particles. She holds membership in various local and international pharmacy and health based organizations. Prof. Dr. Nahlah had published more than 200 publications including research journal articles, proceedings, chapters in books, books and magazine. She has been invited to deliver lectures, talks and conduct workshops at local and international events as well as a reviewer for local and international journals. Research area of interest mainly in the field of pharmaceutics (drug delivery; nanotechnology; inhalational deliveries), clinical pharmacy, pharmacy education and leadership, pharmacy practice, public health, neuro behavioural-psychosocial, pharmaceutical policy, complementary and alternative medicines, and sport sciences. She is also actively participating in honey, plant and animal modelling studies in exploring and defining new therapeutic entity. Dr. Mahmoud Sarhan, MD, MMM, CPE, is the CEO/Director General of the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC) since March 2006. Dr. Sarhan has led a number of major projects within KHCC to ensure the provision of the state of the art and quality medical services. Under his leadership, KHCC was accredited and reaccredited as a general hospital by the Joint Commission International, and also received the only disease specific accreditation outside North America in oncology. Dr. Sarhan joined KHCC in 2002 as the Chairman of the Pediatrics Department, Director of Bone Marrow and Stem Cell Transplantation Program, and the Director of the Hematology Oncology Fellowship Program. He is the chairman of the board of the Jordan Breast Cancer Program and the Chairman of the National Palliative Care Committee.
